As many of you are now aware, Createspace is merging with KDP – that announcement was made official from KDP’s website on August 27, 2018.

Since then, Createspace has systematically been allowing eligible accounts to migrate over in groups (so it wasn’t available for everyone all at once). More and more accounts have been able to migrate over since August 27. By now, most account holders have received emails indicating their accounts are eligible for migration.

Currently … Createspace is NO LONGER accepting new accounts as per their website announcement. (I’ve attached a screenshot if their website below).

For those of you wishing to use Amazon for your print books, you still can, but NO LONGER with Createspace. That’s OK. If you’ve already set up a KDP account to publish your Kindle books, then there is nothing you need to do. You can start your print book setup directly within your KDP account.
